Change
| RELEASE DATE: Aug 25 2009 GENRE: Alternative Experimental Rock ABOUT ALBUM: The latest Beyette album which features the single, "Million-Faced Man" as well as guest performers, Red Beard and G Dubbs. The title is not a political reference regarding the previous election. Three years in the making, Change is the first Beyette record that involves vocals on virtually every track as well as mostly live instrumentation. The personal themes are based on assessments of society, both the general public as well as closer relationships. Beyette struggles to understand human nature as it seemingly destroys the happy life around him, and constantly strives for some sort of peace and resolve through his songs using an attempted responsibility and vulnerability. The sound of the album has been compared to Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park, Beck and Black Sabbath. There are two instrumentals, one is a fast swinging rock track with no singing, the other is a fast paced evolving piano song. The songs go from heavy to soft, loud to calm. The drums are usually huge, the guitar usually distorted, and the bass usually setting the tone. The first and only single released to promote this album was "Million-Faced Man", which included 4 bonus remixes not available online. |
